They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team for an initial six-month period, taking ownership of finance delivery across a portfolio of ambitious, founder-led businesses.
This is a hands-on role and we are particularly interested in people who have worked directly with startups and scale-ups and understand the challenges that come with rapidly growing, early-stage businesses. The successful candidate should be able to get up to speed quickly, work independently and build credibility with founders from the outset.

Previous experience working with startups, scale-ups or early-stage founder-led businesses is strongly preferred, whether gained within an outsourced finance/accountancy environment or directly within growing businesses.
You will ideally have:
- Strong hands-on UK accounting and financial management experience
- Experience supporting Seed, Series A or other early-stage/growth businesses
- Confidence producing management accounts from end to end
- Good knowledge of UK corporation tax, VAT, PAYE and FRS 102 1A

- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly and commercially to founders
- A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage multiple clients independently
ACA, ACCA or AAT qualification would be beneficial, although strong practical experience is more important than a particular qualification.
Experience with startup fundraising, EIS/SEIS, EMI or technology businesses would be advantageous.
Working Arrangements
The preference is for someone to work 4 days per week, although there may be flexibility for the right person.
The role can be performed largely remotely, with some access to a Central London co-working space when required.
The initial requirement is approximately six months, with the possibility of extending beyond this.
